As Learning Manager for CFI I was tasked with establishing the foundational architecture, design principles, practices and flagships offerings for CFI’s Learning Program. The Collaboration for Impact Learning Program now offers online learning courses for communities, practitioners and change-makers designed to help grow the skills, thinking and practice needed to tackle complex social challenges in Australia.

In this role, I was tasked with leading a multi-disciplinary global team tasked with scaling our approach to skills-based training across World Visions International's implementing offices (70+ countries) via online learning.These online offerings were aligned to World Visions programming approaches and included a blend of just-in-time orientations, systems training, and a portfolio of facilitated eWorkshops for implementing staff and partners across the globe. The Technical Academy, alongside World Visions Global Sector teams, identify and train leading experts from across the organisation to facilitate Technical Academy eWorkshops of which there are 30+cohorts per year. On my departure, the network of facilitators had grown to 110 members from 45 countries. The Technical Academy is built on a fully cost recovered business model.

Again expanding the scope of my previous role within the SEED unit, I managed a small team where we grew the online learning portfolio and expanded our network of field-based Subject Matter Expert eFacilitators.In 2017 I became a member of the Livelihoods Global Center Team to further expand the portfolio of offerings that would now be available to all Livelihoods staff across the World Vision International partnership.

Expanding the scope of my previous role within the Social Entrepreneurship and Economic Development (SEED) unit I continued to design and facilitate eWorkshops in partnership with World Visions Project Model Champions, In 2016 I lead a human-centred design process where we designed a scalable solution for building field staff learning and development through online learning. The approach was adopted by the WVI Livelihoods Global Center.

Employed part-time to design, facilitate and administer the first World Vision eWorkshop alongside my manager at the time, Mark Harwood and consultant Dynamind eLearning. The 8-month facilitated eWorkshop was for field facing Economic Development practitioners implementing Local Value Chain Development in the communities where they work across the globe. The online learning approach won two awards at the LearnX awards 2015
