The Yerba Buena Alliance supports the Yerba Buena Neighborhood by strengthening partnerships, providing critical neighborhood-wide leadership and infrastructure, serving as an information source and forum for the area's diverse residents, businesses, and visitors, and promoting the area as a destination. Working as the sole staff person for the organization, I manage and facilitate:* Monthly Yerba Buena neighborhood meetings for the membership that provide a forum for the diverse topics that effect the area* Annual fundraising gala honoring an individual and an institution, held annually at the Metreon City View, past honorees include top civic and business leaders* Yerba Buena Culture Cabinet, to find ways for collaboration and partnership between the organizations and museums in the community* Production of 2 annual Yerba Buena Gallery Walks, with 13 participating galleries in the Yerba Buena featuring diverse types of art* Facilitate the Board of Directors and all aspects of board management, board development* Strategic planning and collaborative partnership* Serve as a liaison to City departments regarding neighborhood development* Website and social media maintenance* Membership and donor cultivation* Collaborator with Third Thursdays, a montly evening showcase of various Yerba Buena institutions and resturants including YBCA, Contemporary Jewish Museum and Musem of the African Diaspora with B Bar and Novela, providing networking opportunities for members of the Yerba Buena Alliance and providing a resource for information and networking* Facilitate walking tours and other tours

To manage all aspects of a 70 member board of directors comprised of high level community levels including coordination of all details including board meetings and the preparation of Board meeting packets and AV needs, Executive Committee, Board Development Committee and all aspects of board management. Provide executive assistance the Executive Director, Gabriel Metcalf including heavy calendaring and acting as the interface to SPUR's Board, business and individual members, the press and community leaders. Assist with SPUR's programs at the Urban Center including forums, symposiums, exhibit openings and special events and have been part of fundraising through grant research, coordination of key segments of fundraising events including the Silver SPUR Awards, Good Government Awards and other special high level fundraising events.

Managed all facets of the organization as the sole staff person in the organization.Worked for a 20 member Board of Directors to implement the League's mission.Served as the League's program manager for the Voter Service program for 8 elections of organizing candidate forums, televised pro/con discussions on the local ballot measures, Speakers Bureau program to over 150 community organizations, the printed and translated Pro/Con Guide for local ballot issues with local media and smartvoter.org, an online tool for candidates.Work with committees for research and advocacy issues.Coordinate a city wide education campaign on Ranked Choice Voting, with the Department of Elections with the City of San Francisco.Managed League's membership database and membership program.Did all the accounting in Quickbooks and maintained budgetsCreated the content and layout of the newsletter The Voter and assist with graphic design needs of the organization such as creation of new brochures and propaganda material.Grant management including research, writing and reporting of $100k in grants per year.Coordinate with Bay Area, California and National League for organizational issues.Serve as the interface to the Board, members, public and the press for all matters pertaining to the League.
