Music Supervisor + Producer + Sync A&R + Creative Director Virginia P. Brick is a bold and ambitious visionary who continues to forge her own path in the music industry. As a native of Oxford, Mississippi and Music Business graduate (07') from Middle TN State University, she has called Murfreesboro, TN home w/her two sons for twenty years. She is a fearless, purpose-driven difference maker whose superpowers are cultivating authentic relationships &delivering results in customer service excellence. A servant leader, she proudly serves as President for the Nashville based, non-profit organization, Women’s Music Business Association (WMBA). Created and led by full-time working women in the music industry, this elite group of women has built a supportive community to empower & champion each other. Under her leadership, the work her team of officers will be member-focused on leadership development, collective impact, community relations & cross sector partnerships. Since March 2016, Virginia has also been an integral part on the Licensing Department Customer Service team at SESAC.Brick began her career in the service industry back in 99', working her way up the ladder to leadership and training roles. She quickly learned the demands of working in fast paced environments, customer service, problem solving & how to pivot and adjustment on the fly. In May of 2008, her transferable skills and wisdom of being a single mom, brought a dynamic level of experience to the small A-team of catering and events, working for local women-owned businesses, Through the Grapevine and Events at East 96 for eight years. Virginia thrives in organize chaos roles like event planning & management, logistical operations, and project management. Simultaneously, she dabbled in artist development & management, talent booking, A&R, and independently organizing events like new artist showcases while giving back to her communities by partnering with local non-profit charities. Virginia’s twenty years of pivots, creative endeavors, motherhood, hard industry no’s, failures, and small wins, has positioned her now to pour her winks of wisdom into helping independent artists elevate their careers at whatever season they are in. In the fall of 2023, she will relaunch her startup company, VPB Entertainment, focusing on music supervision, artist development and music publishing. Ms. Brick also serves on the Board for the Williamson County Cultural Arts Commission in Franklin, TN; Transportation Director, Oxford Film Festival in Oxford, MS;
