At Cristo Rey Miami High School, I oversee Business, Music, and Spanish as the Department Chair of Specials. My role extends beyond teaching; it’s about creating a nurturing environment where students from diverse backgrounds can thrive. With my Doctor of Education nearing completion, I am deeply committed to integrating educational technology into the curriculum to elevate learning experiences.In my multifaceted role, I lead the implementation of Performance Matters and GradeCam, ensuring seamless integration into our school’s operations. As the primary instructional technology advisor, I guide our faculty in utilizing tools like PowerSchool and Google Classroom, making technology a bridge to accessible, impactful education.I also contribute to our Career and College Readiness program, where I focus on equipping students with the skills needed for success in our Work Study Program. By blending educational technology with leadership development, I aim to empower students to excel in real-world job settings, preparing them for meaningful opportunities in the workforce.
