One specific project dealt with the identification and development of new biomarkers for early detection of breast and ovarian cancers and identification and development of new biomarkers to predict for adverse reaction to radiation therapy. In addition to preparing manuscripts and fellowship applications and assisting in preparation of grant applications, I presented my work at scientific conferences. In addition to my research, I had an active role in training of new graduate and undergraduate students rotating through the laboratory. My leadership experience includes serving as the Chair of the Moffitt Postdoctoral Association, where I provided career guidance to postdoctoral fellows and graduate students through organization of career seminars. Through the collaboration with the senior administration, I established travel awards for postdoctoral fellows.
