Virtual America explores and develops products and services related to virtual and augmented art, architecture, history, and heritage tourism. Our focus involves Reality Capture, 3D modeling, and creating digital twins with a focus on historic preservation of landmark sites, buildings, historic districts, towns and cities.

Director of Teaching and Learning Technologies (TLT) team in the Office of Information Technologies at the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Indiana - retired. (2007-2020) The TLT team focused on emerging technologies & academic innovation, learning management systems and related technologies, including learning analytics. Explored and developed products for students, faculty and alumni using mobile technologies, augmented and virtual reality, 3D visualization using laser-lidar scanning, and high resolution 360 degree panorama photography. Also served as Director of Academic Digital Media, and Manager of Academic & Educational Technologies during my tenure @ Notre Dame.

Cramer of TheStreet.com and CNBC Mad Money.

MTC was an Apple Authorized Training Center (ATC) for employees in large companies headquartered in Research Triangle Park NC who used Macintosh computers and related software. We also co-developed highly successful multimedia and digital image cataloging software for education and related verticals including interactive CD-ROM development. Taught Photoshop, Macromind Director and other Macintosh software programs related to digital imaging and media.

Project Manager for a complex multi-million dollar multi-year UVA contract program with the U.S. Navy Family Housing Mgt Institute (FHMI) related to building and managing housing for Navy and Marine Corps families stationed worldwide (full time 1983-1986). Also continued to teach as adjunct faculty in the program for 7 additional years (1987-1993).
