I love to help people. I have worked at some level of service for most of my life. The focus of my work at Virtual Assistance by Jenny is simple: to take care of the details of the small business world. You know, those tasks that take you away from the essential things. My knowledge and experience make a great compliment to those who need assistance in running or managing their business. The younger version of me worked managing an up-and-coming paint company. I created a system to perform estimates, typed and sent out estimates, scheduled jobs, and spoke to customers to handle billing, scheduling, complaints, and anything else needed. I ran Quickbooks, paid bills, paid subcontractors and employees, and assisted in gathering tax documents for quarterly and end-of-year taxes. I continued my education as I worked here, my goal was to become a classroom teacher. After Nuance I became an office assistant at a local grocery store. Here I managed front-end cashiers and scheduling, customer service needs, and reconciliation of tills and bank deposits. In 2008, I started my 10-year career as a teacher in Social Science. My focus of study was Civics and Economics. As the pandemic rocked the world it also rocked my priorities. The dream of working from home opened up and I took it so I could work on my own time and spend more time with my family.
