Life started out in Covington, TN. When I was the tender age of 1, my parents, "loaded up the truck and moved to", Flint, MI. That's where I call home. I was the typical kid, rambunctious, inquisitive, a seeker of adventurous things, going to school with the same kids who all graduated high school together.My most memorable time growing up was living in Beecher, which was known by the city folks as "The Sticks." But for me and my siblings it was an amazing place!After graduating high school, I did some college. I opted instead to pursue the 9-5 crowd and worked in the biggest hospital in the area; worked there for 4 years... then the adventure bell rang. I wanted an adventure of my own, so...I enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1973. I experienced some amazing things, people and places. I traveled the world. Going to places I would never seen otherwise. Thailand, The Philippines, Japan, Guam, Iceland, Korea, Malaysia. What an adventure!I ended my military career in 1993 while I was in Sacramento, CA (McClellan AFB). I now live in Millington, TN, just south of where it all started for me. I'm looking to retire in 2 years, but I'm still looking for another adventure. Not going to let a rocking chair get me... no sir!
