Improving nutriton among under three children through Participatory community led approaches; improving quality and coverage of home visits for newborn and young children (HBNC/YC); and strengthening services at community/primary level. A pan-state community led participatory intervention focused on improving newborn and maternal health- Facilitated Learning and Action Groups. The intervention led to 24% reduction in newborn mortality rate, averting estimated 11803 newborn deaths (min: 1026–max: 20 527) over 42months, and costed 41 international dollars per life year saved.Accountable for:• Supervising program activities and coordination with district health departments and Malnutrition Treatment Centers.• Organizing capacity building sessions for ASHAs and project staff on neonatal, child health, nutrition and early childhood care and development.• Monitored community-based Crèches and conducted growth monitoring of children.• Managed knowledge development and sharing within the organization.
