• Survey and design plans for Electrical and Fibre use.• Perform Optical and Electrical inspections.• Proficient in fusion splicing and Electrical installation • Run Fiber Optic Cables underground (hauling) and perform premises cabling.• Perform Fiber tests and fault finding with OTDR, light source and meters.• Fine knowledge of the use of splice equipment’s including OTDR, Fusion splicer, traffic identifiers and optical loss testers.• Coordinating fiber and electrical activities with other departments and Project Managers. • Installing fiber optic equipment and patch panels.• Document and analyze test results for later evaluation.• Commissioning of fiber network.• Compiling and submitting As builds to division standards
