Role - Senior Manager Exports Responsibilities: At Lucky textiles , I was heading the team responsible for business development & merchandising of woven fabrics at mid-level brands & retailers in US. Business development responsibilities included: Analyzing the business potential of existing customer taking into consideration factors like pricing, product quality and capacity allocation.Once in 3 months travel to countries like HK, USA, China, NZ for business development, product presentation & participating in vendor conference and mill weeks.In subsequent 10 months I was able to establish fabric exports at major markets including US and UK customers like GAP, Old Navy , Tom Taylor, S'Oliver , Quiksilver , AEO.

• As Sr Manager, managed sourcing operations from India, China, Indonesia and Pakistan.• On the ground leader for a 40 person organization including Product development, Technical design, Fabric design, Sourcing, Quality management, Logistics, Social Responsibility and Administration.• Led the development of global sourcing strategies across brands for woven products leveraging unit volumes, consolidating fabrics and reducing the vendor base.• Introduced the concept of fabric platforming resulting in further margin improvement• As Category Leader for Apparel Woven business, managed the sourcing for all types of woven fabrics products for various brands like – Express, Talbots, Gap, Old Navy, S’Oliver etc.• Representing and promoting ACP at every possible platform • Worked very closely with all the big garment houses like Busana Group, Ameya , Golden Garments Industries, Samwon for exploring new developments for the buyer’s along with the designer team and visiting customers for presentation for newly developed fabrics.• Rigorous monitoring and controlling of three factors namely “Deliveries, Price Negotiations and Outstanding clearance”

• Working directly or indirectly with major buyers like Kohl’s, Ralph Lauren, Ann Taylor,American Eagle outfitters, Nordstrom etc• Visited New York for Mill week Spr’23 presentations to AEO, RL, Express, Jodarche ,Ann Taylor• Looking after all the Managerial part of the Bulk and development orders which is around 10 million meters per annum.• Core responsible for all kind of Developments of major buyers.• Responsible for all kind of negotiations directly with Buyer’s or vendors or with buying agencies.• Responsible for exploring new developments for the buyer’s along with the designer team and visiting customers for presentation for newly developed fabrics.

• Working under direct guidance of respected CMD of the company on different projects assigned related to supply chain.• Responsible for arranging Griege fabric for valuable customers like Uniqlo and H&M in Outsourcing model.• Responsible for exploring new vendors for arranging the fabric from outside.• Working on core projects/assignments on Fabric Supply chain & logistics through identification of areas of improvements with an aim to add values for the company & fulfilling the Customer needs.• Rigorous monitoring and controlling of three factors namely “Delivery performances and Scheduling, Inventories & Capacities”

• Preparing the Production Budgets on Monthly, Quarterly & Yearly basis of Sewing Thread through proper identification of Production Plan as per the Customer Requirements & with the Changing Scenario of the Market.• Preparing of Inventory valuation like Raw Material, Power & Sub Stores through Proper identification of Cost Involved.• Preparing & reporting to the Director for all types of Management Reports.• Working on Monthly Excise Returns & finally Submission of the same on timely basis with the concerned Department.• Responsible for getting the Installation Certificates from the Department for all kinds of machinery against EPCG Licenses.• Responsible for handling for all types of Audit related to Commercial whether Internal or externals.• Monitoring the Complete inflows & outflow of Raw Material Yarn & Filament Resulting Proper allocation of Raw Material & easy availability to the Production Team.
