Supply Chain Manager
CurrentLead the Supply Chain activities across all Middle East Power & Energy Entities . Direct and coordinate activities of all personnel engaged in purchasing, logistics, inventory etc. by performing the following duties with the team. • Negotiate or supervise the negotiation of complex requests for equipment, supplies, and services from suppliers for Pumps, pump packages, Filters, filtration skids, Valves, Quick Opening Closures. • Assign workload and manage all Supply Chain Employees in the Middle East Region.• Ownership of monthly backlog aging and revenue forecasting within SAP6 & QB • Developed and installed appropriate Supply Chain procedures and practices, workflows, sequences of operations to optimize efficiency and drive continuous improvement.• Interviewing, hiring & training employees; planning, assigning & directing work;appraising performance; rewarding & disciplining employees; addressing complaints.• Implement KPI’s and objectives for the function in line with Corporate overall aims for the year.• Designed the procurement reporting system inline with ISO requirement. • Prepare and review contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements for legal correctness, price, and acceptability of items to specifications.• Prepared analysis to support make vs. buy decisions (Localization Initiatives)• Post order management (including direct ownership / PM of complex OE projects) of Aftermarket Spares and Original Equipment.• Verification of relevant LC wording to ensure compliance with commercial contractual obligations.• Monitor inventory levels, dollar value & turns to ensure optimal inventory combined with minimum working capital and minimize obsolete & excess inventory. • Continuously monitor approved Sub Vendors in the region.• Recruit & maintain suppliers that provide high quality products and services at a better price while maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct.
