A website was developed which takes online ordering and processes credit cards for payment.• Commonwealth Electric: This multi location US electrical contractor wanted to build an online ordering system to be integrated to an existing website. A web store was created to allow companies attending a show, conference or fair to order online for the services and goods they will need during that event. • Posterita POS: A product developed in-house, the point of sale has been implemented in several textile retail shops in many countries. This POS is web based and is build upon Adempiere ERP & CRM. It has a range of functionalities which can adapt easily to most of the retail shops and supermarkets.

As Chief Web Architect, I was responsible to do research, design, and development of web based solutions to build/integrate systems and create applications by performing the following duties: • Define the functional requirements of the web based solutions• Design solution to meet requirements. • Analyze situations/data to determine feasibility of design within time and cost requirements. • Write code for individual components of web based applications. • Design user interface to ensure easy-­to-­follow user screens. • Maintain documentation of code and perform bug fixes. • Consult with customers concerning maintenance of web based solutions.Main projects undertaken:• Dealer Management System: An automotive company in South Africa, having as marketing strategy to standardize its products and services and to improve communication between its different branches so as to increase efficiency. A web communication platform based on Compiere was created to meet the requirements. This allowed different dealerships to communicate among themselves and obtain in real time important dashboard aggregate sales per type of car, per dealership, per region and their stock movements. • Tamak Web Store: Tamak is a designer, a fully-fledged casual wear manufacturer and distributor of clothing both in retail and on a wholesale basis. Selling under three different brands, it wanted to expand its market scope to have an international reach to sell souvenir t-shirts and thus needed an an online business web store. Mandated for this project, Compiere ERP/CRM was used as the application framework upon which this web store was designed and developed.
