I’m an agricultural educator, researcher, and consultant with broad experience in business and market planning for small and large producers, strategic planning, local food systems, value chain management, agritourism, specialty marketing strategies, cooperative business management, and international agricultural development. I’ve directed three agriculture oriented non-profits and have skills in organizational development, strategic planning, and project management. At the University of California, Davis I was responsible for the Agriculture Sustainable Institute's Values Based Supply Chain Initiative.A thread that has run through all my work has been a commitment to sustainable agriculture and the continuing viability of producers. I believe that a healthy and sustainable farm community must contain small and large farms that implement and experiment with diverse cultural practices. My work to advance sustainable agriculture leverages my skills to make a positive impact on the global environment.Specialties: strategic planning, marketing, agricultural business consulting, and agritourism.
