Main purpose of the position is to drive sales, profitability and customer service in our retail stores through supporting the selling culture, instilling company values and developing the business through gaining a solid understanding of the local market and broadening community involvement. Responsible for the communication, planning and execution of key business strategies (such as hyper growing copy centre, culture, easy service and selling solutions). Required to be an active force in driving sales externally and prospecting for new customers. Coach and lead management team to drive overall store performance through support and development of staff, diligent review of P & L, attention to the protection of company assets and focusing on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our associates and customers.

• Successfully manage one of the highest volume Futureshop store in Canada and number one sales volume store in the district with 130 employees.• Detailed analysis of store performance through weekly business reviews, generating monthly P&L statements and brainstorming action plans to discuss with other Future Shop GMs at information-sharing meetings.• Ensured excellence in sales culture, providing focused training, ongoing coaching and constructive feedback to 130 store employees to elevate staff performance to the highest standards of excellence on all metrics.• Enhanced store performance on key sales metrics, consistently earning monthly budget increases of 5% to foster further growth and increased profitability
