The purpose of the project is to increase and sustain the Bu Hasa production plateau output to 650,000 barrels per day by October 2021

The Crude Flexibility Project will significantly enhance the processing capabilities of ADNOC’s refinery in Ruwais. Throughout its history ADNOC has predominantly refined Murban grade crude, extracted from its onshore fields in Abu Dhabi. Once complete, the Crude Flexibility Project will allow us to refine up to 420,000 bpsd of heavier and sourer grades of crude. These will include Upper Zakum grade crude, extracted from Abu Dhabi’s offshore fields, as well as over 50 other varieties sourced from around the world.

Phase III of Al Dabb'iya project is part of the Northeast Bab (NEB) development program of ADCO, a shallow coastal and marine area, located 40 km Southwest of Abu Dhabi This is a challenging project in terms of execution, but it holds strategic importance for the Maire Tecnimont Group in the Oil & Gas business. Al Dabbi’iya Phase III will contribute to fulfill the need of additional oil demand with 73,000 Barrels Oil Per Day (BOPD). Plant capacity also includes Gathering & Injection System, Oil export and Gas import and export pipelines.

The Carbon Black & Delayed Coker (CBDC) Plant was a project ordered by UAE’s state-run oil company ADNOC Refining (formerly TAKREER). This project was composed of 12 integrated process plants and utility plants inside the Ruwais Complex in the UAE. The main process facilities consisted of the carbon black unit (40,000 tons per year), delayed coker unit (30,000 barrels per day), propylene dehydration unit (500,000 tons per year), and coke calcining unit (600,000 tons per year).
