I oversee all technological operations for AMA. I previously acted as Senior Project Manager and Software Architect. In these roles, I design software and manage projects dealing with the GX product line. Our software is used by various departments within the Government of Canada.

I collaborated with team leads to review software changes and engage in release strategy. I played a key role during the requirements gathering and design stages, providing functional specifications using MS Visio and Enterprise Architect. Throughout the release cycle I worked with Project Managers, presented business cases to executive staff and bug status updates to team leads.

2006-2008, Operations Engineer 3 Working with a remote manager, I provided senior level support for Microsoft’s hosted email archive services. A core component of this role involved regulating change management; evaluating requests and invoking emergency changes. Throughout my workday I monitored 200+ server data centers on 3 continents via MOM, SCOM, RDC and iLO. This role provided in depth experience with Active Directory policies and maintaining servers running *nix, Windows Server 2003 and Exchange.2004-2006, Software Test Engineer @ FrontBridge/Microsoft As one of the initial members of FrontBridge’s Canadian location, I analyzed and updated spam filtering software handling 100+ million messages per day. Frequently used technologies include Oracle, MySql, MSSql, grep, regex, perl, php, XML, C# and Java. Knowledge of RFC 821, SEC 17a-4 and NASD 3010 was essential to ensure regulatory compliance of archive servers and construct holistic test environments to evaluate archive performance and functionality.Accomplishments:-Created spam analysis tools and scripts to filter email and gather metrics-Lead a project to historically load emails into Microsoft Exchange's hosted archive servers-Supervised University of Manitoba Computer Science students interning with Microsoft Canada
