Research engineer with over six years of experience in working within the field of materials engineering, developing new technologies for structural integrity assessment with a special focus in infrared thermal imaging technology. I am currently working on multiple technical consultancy and research and development projects in Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) - both leading projects and working as a collaborative team member in cross functional teams. Previously I completed a PhD in Experimental Mechanics at the University of Southampton. I am always on the lookout for opportunities in exploring my passion in developing industrial solutions and advancing research through novel imaging and sensing systems. I’m easily adaptable to change, with an eagerness towards learning and expanding capabilities. Technical Specialties:- In-depth knowledge in mechanical behaviour of materials, NDE (Thermography, Ultrasonic Testing) and Experimental Mechanics techniques (Thermoelastic Stress Analysis, Digital Image Correlation, Material Testing)- Development of image and signal processing algorithms in Matlab and Python- Data Acquisition system development using LabVIEW- Computer Aided Design (Solidworks and Creo) and Finite Element Analysis (Abaqus) - Extensive experience in the use of electronic test equipment (Signal Generator, Multimeter, Oscilloscope etc.)
