A digital media professional with 19+ years of experience. I think, sleep, breathe digital & have an entrepreneurial bent of mind. It all started in 1999 when I earned $48000 for my first organization using Internet. I learned the art of negotiation at Hughes Software Systems, post that I joined Times Internet Ltd (Indiatimes.com) (2002-2007) and have worked on quite a few new business models from scratch. Post Indiatimes I joined a UK based startup (2007 - 2010) and worked there for 3years and practically learned SEO & SEM and implemented strategies to got traffic from SEO. The affiliate marketing business was huge in UK & it gave me the opportunity to learn the same while in India it's a new buzz word. I joined them as a Project Manager & left the organization as a Co-Founder & Business Head. In my tenure the business grew 10 folds. I am currently heading the Strategic Alliances, Business Development & Syndications business for The India Today Group and also heading business for our Digital First, Mobile First and Video First property "MobileTak.in (Tak Channels), which is our biggest bet in hyperlocal mobile video content space.
