Vishwanathan’s responsibilities include continuous assessment of the market for linepipe steel in the Oil & Gas sector in India, offering technical services for product development/process improvement in steel mills in India and evaluating techno-economic feasibility of new projects for the Ferro Tech Group.He is also carried out several market researches in the recent past, like high strength steel sections for construction applications, high strength steels for wind towers, etc. He has also authored 19 technical articles and conference papers published in international journals, conferences proceedings and magazines.Vishwanathan is currently actively involved in the Group’s recent investment initiative in the manufacturing of niche metal products in India towards the ‘Make-in-India’ initiative.
