Responsible for plant performance KPIs : Safety-Quality-Delivery-Inventory-Productivity-Employee Engagement. Lead organisational long range plans, Plant Strategic Initiatives (MLB) to achieve high business growth plans keeping focus on best products and values getting created and delivered to the customers.

Leading Plant Operations to meet customer requirements for safety, quality, delivery, and productivity includes plant P & L. Responsible to drive and sustain operational excellence and continue our path of Lean transformation, while building on a culture of inclusion and respect for people, serving as an effective channelising between business leadership, commercial functions, and the execution arm operations for the organisation. Effectively Plans, directs, and coordinates all manufacturing activities in a plant to produce various types of Small to Large Air Compressors and Air Treatment products of high quality at competitive costs by adherence to safety and other legal regulations. Responsible to Establish the vision for operational functions with a focus on efficiency and profitability enhancement. Explore possibility to improve yield, quality, and productivity.Determining operating plans and working with different functions of the organization to execute in line with annual operating plans.Effectively develop and execute an organization and talent development plan, ensuring organization capabilities and futuristic talent pool / succession plans are in place and teams are properly resourced to maximize overall plant productivity. Accountable and owner for overall operation’s activities and run the smooth plant Operations.

Leading Ingersoll Rand Plant Operations at Ahmedabad plant. Responsible to plan, organize, staff and direct all activities of the operations function to achieve operations and plant’s goals for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity, Customer satisfaction, Profitability, and Employee Engagement. Owning to successfully drive the Lean Transformation of the plant operations to eliminate waste and is ultimately responsible for the production and plant operations upstream, downstream and support function’s collaboration and support to ensure the effective utilization of resources, while driving Diverse, Inclusive and Equitable work environment within Operations and it gets extended to all other cross-functional teams.

Managing array of new plant operations including Engineered to order Centrifugal action + Large Recip Air compressors and Standard/ ETO both Rotary Air compressor product value streams includes offerings for domestic and export market to EMEIA and USA regions. Responsible to manage Low pressure Blower and Refrigerated Air Dryer product manufacturing along with Air compressors. These products are covering almost 95%+ India market Trade business.

Role of Program Manager - Strategic initiatives was a part of Global strategic initiatives team. Role responsibility was to manage Ingersoll Rand, Ahmedabad plant facility and process transformation program management. This was a brownfield project where old plant facility demolition and creation of new one in Phase wise manner has been done. Project has been completed in 3+ years starting from project business case making - regional and global leader approval on it - hiring design and project management consultant - tendering / bidding/ selection of supplier - making facility design - phase wise temporary operations shift - phase wise demolition with the help of project management consultants - phase wise facility creation - end to end process design with Japanese consultant “Shingizutsu” - tools/ equipment/ test cells design and procurement including installation and commissioning- stage wise statutory local Govt legal approvals - Facility safety design according to latest seismic codes and national fire prevention act (FM Global compliant) and IGBC compliant facility design and making - total facility installation - product line assembly and test creation including materials store setup and material flow from receiving to shipping - hand it over to facility management team.This project was on for 3+ years / costed 18 M$+/ designed and commissioned basis latest seismic codes and according to all statutory compliances including IGBC green certification - project delivered @ 10000 Sq Mtr + manufacturing block space, @ 4500 Sq Mtr (G+2 floor) office space, @ 2000 Sq Mtr Utility block space.Key achievement of this project was “Nil safety incidents “ and “No business disruption during project span”

Responsible for operations management of three product lines. This was a mix of HVAC commercial products “Bus Air Conditioners and Truck Air conditioners” and Industrial Refrigeration products “Refrigerated Air Dryers” which is accessory of Air compressors.

I started with New Product Development operations management team as At. manager operations. Handled New product development Project of Ref Air dryer includes visiting Ingersoll Rand Global facilities in Italy, Czech Republic, China to deliver NPD project objectives of technology transfer from Global Plants & Operations management of the newly developed products at Ingersoll Rand Ahmedabad plant.

Leading overall Shift of Refrigerator manufacturing assembly line, includes vacuum forming, cold roll forming, polyurethane foaming, final assembly line. Responsible for total production on the floor and all assembly line related improvements including process and facility upgrade. This role was also having responsibilities of managing all Indirect production consumables including supply / suppliers / procurement management of all the material having budget of 1M$ per year.

Leading Air conditioners product manufacturing lines including Window and Split air conditioners along with feeders likes of press and paint shop.
