Principal Software Architecture
Current• As Principal Software Architect, I oversee the creation of robust, scalable, and efficient software systems. From software architecture, system design, database design, software development and testing, CI/CD, operations and data analytics are addressed. My duties encompass working with executive leadership on the direction of the Software Engineering Studio, leading the Software Architecture team, managing resource utilization and placements, leading AI / ML initiatives, partnering with peers in other Studios, and mentoring team members within the larger Software Development community. • Directed multiple client projects in the healthcare sector. IT Lead / Enterprise Architect for multi-year, multimillion-dollar initiatives with a vertically-integrated client. I consistently offer guidance to C-suite executives on long-term strategic planning and tactical execution. I advocate for Volatility-Based Decomposition (VBD) as a dependable microservice framework. My contributions include ideation, developing proofs of concept for applications and services, database architecture, and delivering core software libraries. • Working closely with data architects, DBAs, and data warehouse team members to ensure quality and consistency across distributed data systems. • Developed a modernization strategy for an immunotherapy company evolving from a startup to a full-fledged enterprise. This involved integrating their systems with external partners through USCDI / FHIR standards, breaking into new global markets, and refining the scheduling, production, and delivery of biologics to infusion centers for patient care. • Educated Launch and client staff on VBD principles, established best practices, and effective problem-solving methods through workshops, brown-bags, and 1:1 coaching.
