About Rukhsana Faruqi
I had been in teaching for about 35 years.. I was a Professor of Zoology. I started my publishing business as a passion for doing something for education, bringing out good quality books for our children. During the entire period of myTeaching career (at Degree level) I felt the need of paying more attention to basic education at Primary level. It was my late husband who encouraged me and made me write my first book series, The Effective Science. After that there came many more prestigious titles.My other fields of interests are artwork , computer art, designing , and I must say I have a knack for management and for looking after finances.
