Presently Working as Manager - Die casting & Injection Mould Section / Tool & Die Engineering Division / Production Engineering with M/s Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Gurgaon. Leading a team of 55 Responsible for Design improvement, Process planning, Machining, Assembly & Fitting, Die trial and proving & Procurement activities for Die casting die & Plastic Mould Manufacturing.Responsible for overall departmental activities like Project Planning, Budgeting, Scheduling, Procurement, Source development, Manufacturing, proving, costing and Customer support.

Was section in-charge of HPDC die manufacturing team in the development of Cylinder Block for new petrol & diesel engines.• Developed a 10 member strong mold team and standardized machining and fitting process through benchmarking with Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan.• Developed first-time in-house Bumper Injection mould thereby reducing tool cost by 47% and new model introduction lead time by 2 months.Recommended and implemented improvements in production methods and identifying ways to reduce production costs.• Reduced the die manufacturing cost by 33% through localization of parts and through the implementation of Value analysis / Value engineering (VA/VE) concepts.Managed techno-commercial activities relating to contracts and procurement.• 3 new steel suppliers and steel grades were introduced to foster competition, which lead to reduction in steel cost by 11%
