As a Lead consultant for the Ethics and Compliance at Net Consulting, I am responsible for establishing Ethics and Compliance team structure and creating a functional Ethics and Compliance Programs in the private and public sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina.I worked for 19 years in the financial departments of various private and public companies. My career in compliance started in 2011, at the moment when I reported corruption in a public company where I worked. That same year I joined the NGO that advocated the adoption of the Law on Protection of Whistleblowers. At the end of 2013, the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted the First European Law for the Protection of Whistleblowers with the Institute for Pre-Judicial Protection.Society of Corporate Compliance & Ethics awarded me with its 2017 International Compliance & Ethics Award, which just confirmed what I strongly believe in “No matter how difficult or complicated it will be, doing the right thing is the only right thing to do”.
