Strategically outsourcing materials required to fulfill production & dispatch activities.Development of alternate sources for Cost Saving.Planning and budgeting of Purchase Functions, involving Cost Estimation, Contract Negotiations.Performing as Active Member of Cross Functional Team as well as New Product Development Team. Inviting and allotting Quotations from various Vendors and Negotiating. Liaison with the Production Department & store to maintain Optimum Inventory.Implementing systems to avoid situations like over-stocking or out-of-stock Preparing the Comparative Documents to evaluate Productivity & Cost Effectiveness.Resolve receiving discrepancies (RDR), Return to vendor (RTV) & Purchase Price Variance (PPV) following corporate & plant policies/procedures.
