Viswanath works in the intersection of Finance & Strategy and spearheads the global initiatives. He is leading 3 pivotal business verticals across Noon and spearheading one of the most coveted initiatives for Noon & Namshi - the International Cross Border Marketplace. This initiative stands as a central driver of future growth and a transformative force, reshaping the landscape of our marketplace operations across Noon and Namshi. He is also deeply involved and invested heavily from the product side in building the integration / API for the marketplaces. He has been instrumental in building and scaling the Private Label business in Noon. He also is a part of the CEO core team of Namshi to drive downstream post-acquisition projects across different teams of Namshi. He has led cross functional projects driving scalable and streamlined operational mechanisms, design frameworks, process and controls during the tenure working with the Group Finance team.He was previously leading the Risk, Audit & Asset Protection at M H Alshaya, advising the vertical heads operating over 3,700 stores across diverse customer sectors such as Fashion & Footwear, Health & Beauty, Food, Optics, Pharmacy, Home Furnishings and Leisure & Entertainment on risk strategies and performance improvement though audits and sustainability through asset protection.Before this, he was part of the Consulting arm of Genpact advising & delivering strategic risk projects for the diverse clientele across Telecom, Manufacturing, Hospitality across multiple locations on national & international assignments. Viswanath's early career included positions at prominent organizations such as ICICI and ANB Consulting, where he honed his financial and strategic expertise.Viswanath is a Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India & Certified Internal Auditor from The Institute of Internal Auditors. He has been a founder and also been a mentor / board across various startups. He is very passionate and shows keen interest in analyzing and investing in startups across different industries.
