As a feature lead at Atlassian, I pioneered a new initiative for a high-visibility internal tool, which is projected to evolve into a full Atlassian product. I navigated the complexities of evolving requirements and project planning, while simultaneously contributing to the development of this feature.I've also been an integral contributor to a novel backend service that fuels an analytics use case, utilizing Golang and GraphQL. My role facilitated timely execution and influenced overarching architectural decisions, specifically on data ingestion from various sources.In the Intelligent Automation Platform team, I helped to empower business teams, enabling them to transition from concept to fully operational automations that scale effortlessly. My implementation of a self-serviceable governance framework with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) provisions significantly enhanced developer productivity. This initiative resulted in reducing the platform onboarding time from approximately six days to mere minutes, marking a significant leap in efficiency.Through all these roles, my focus has been on promoting efficiency, enhancing productivity, and driving innovation, which aligns with Atlassian's mission of unleashing the potential in every team.

Started off in messaging core team; a team whose focus is to write services that manage the state transition while a message (sms, mms, whatsapp message, etc) is in-flight (point when it reaches twiilo to the point when the message is delivered). Notable Achievements:- Implemented a new feature to allow the Twilio API to send MMS message with a Subject line.- Refactored couple of services and ensured that there was no leak of PII data (both internally & to customers).- Designed and developed a service which will track number of messages filtered messages based on the carrier.Moved on to a Tech lead role for messaging insights where the team's focus is to provide a wide variety of analytics data to customers ranging from a single developer to huge enterprises such as Lyft, Airbnb, Uber, etc. Notable achievements:- Deployed a new spark cluster for processing data and computing aggregations on big data (avg ~100k events/sec)- Refactored existing Spark apps to upgrade and run on the latest version of Apache Spark (2.4.x)- Was one of the founding engineers of messaging insights (product) and was part of several key architectural decisions to scale the product to support analytics for billions of messages sent via Twilio messaging API.Tech stack experience: Scala, Java 8, Dropwizard, Swagger, Apache Cassandra, Apache Kafka, Apache Spark.

Product Attribution team:My team at Art.com focuses on consuming large data sets from different data sources, add attributes to the data if needed and update the product model for other services to consume the right data. I also worked on the module that uses spring integration and spring batch to migrate data to Apache Cassandra from Oracle. Technology stack: Spring boot, Spring batch, Spring Integration, RabbitMQ, Apache Cassandra

Foreign System Integration Team(FSI):My team specializes in making it possible for Cerner Corporation to reconcile patient information from various vendors and facilitates other vendors to use Cerner data. I specialized in handling the Cross-Enterprise Document Sharing project(XDS) which is a part of FSI.I was part of a project that automates a part of the testing. This project's intent was to cut down the testing time which usually takes around 4 weeks. This automation reduced it to 2 weeks.I also implemented a service that would retrieve a document for a patient from different sources from the repository and presenting to the user.I had a wealth of knowledge to acquire when I initially joined Cerner. I believe I did a great job in taking things slowly and gained thorough understanding of the legacy yet powerful healthcare servers which handles about 18000 facilities around the globe.

3D Remote Viewing Prototype Project:• Shown positive results to client on 3D rendering techniques for consuming large size data and displaying it on an android tablet using OpenGL ES 2.0• Configured the build to implement the android project using agile methodologies like TDD and CIBuild Server: JenkinsPlatform: Android, JavaLibraries: OpenGL ES 2.0

Developed a module for the Drillling Simulator which would take in well-data and tag them with their respective properties/attributes. This made searching of well data with the user-preferences very easy and efficient. This project gained good feedback and I was a part of the team to develop RESTfull web-service for the same module.Technologies Used: Play! Framework, JPA, Hibernate

Developed a custom content management system that would enable the user to change content of his website dynamically without having to depend on the website management team unless its a big design change. This app gained lot of popularity among the clients and received a good feedback. I was also a part of the team which provided support for this software.
