Lithuanian-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce (LNCC) is a not-for-profit, non-governmental, members organisation.The Chamber is a forum and network for companies, organizations and private persons interested in strengthening business relations between Lithuania and Norway. Chamber aims to enhance the understanding of each others’ business culture, market developments and other socio-economic developments of importance.Responsibilities: Establish and manage Chamber.Results: Gathered a competent team for the Board. Build up knowledge about the Chamber among the relevant parties in Norway and Lithuania. Organised several social events, professional seminars in both Lithuania and Norway regarding business potential between Norway and Lithuania. Organised a lobby seminar about the work of the bilateral chambers in Norway, guested by Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries, NHO, Innovation Norway, and approx. 25 other bilateral chambers. Ongoing support to Norwegian and Lithuanian companies to find relevant business contacts and partners.

Oslo International Hub is a co-working space/incubator environment for the entrepreneurs with an international background who want to use their expertise in Norway.Hub's aim is to foster innovation in an excellent working environment, as well as help expats and repats to do business locally and internationally.Responsibilities: Establish, develop and manage the company.Results: Build up and managed entrepreneur network of approx. 100 startupers. Worked with business development, strategy, project work, events, communication, marketing, contact with customers and suppliers, budgeting, accounting. Recruited and trained 8 volunteer colleagues. Ongoing support to the startupers. Wrote 3 tender applications, won 1 for 750.000NOK. In cooperation with the managing director of the company have build a company and a brand of Oslo International Hub - a network of entrepreneurs and business enthusiasts.

Seema AS is a Norwegian social entrepreneurship company working to increase the diversity in the Norwegian labour market, and to empower women with immigrant background and higher education to reach for their career goals.Responsibilities: Administrative management of the company and projects. Board secretary.Results: Developed administrative structures and routines. Management of the company, budgeting, cost control, development/organising of competence programs for two talent groups. Organised 3 conferences of approx. 300 participants in total, 8 seminars for the talent programs. Recruited a new group of 10 talents in Kristiansand. Gathered data and contributed to the development of the research report for the Ministry of Children and Equality.

NIN is a non-profit, volunteering organization aimed at building a social and professional network for foreign professionals with higher educated.Responsibilities: Lead and develop the volunteer organisationResults: Strengthen the team of volunteers by recruiting and training new team members. Managed a team of 10 volunteers, organised and lead 21 events, increased the members participation by 90%, increased the number of Facebook friends by 200%. Stabilised and increased the economical situation in the organisation.

NITO Takst Service is an interest organization for property appraisers in Norway. They work to support and actively work for their members’ academic and professional development. NITO Takst is NITO's daughter company.Responsibilities: Administrative management of the company, hereby budgeting and financial work, contact with members, organising and administering the course portfolio. Business development. Board Secretary.Results: Developed and updated the budgets based on the ongoing financial prognoses. Sound financial management of the company with stable liquidity. Planned, organised and administered the course portfolio of about 50 events pr yr. Primary contact for members, marketing, sales, development of diverse strategy documents for the Board. Business development: developed and implemented an idea about a QR-marking on the property appraising reports, witch secured the quality of the reports and increased property appraisers professionalism.

Worked with two separate projects:Project: “The Nordic Research Network on the Mediatization of Religion and Culture”, NordForsk project (2009 Feb – 2010 Oct)Responsibilities: Organise international conferences for the international research network.Results: Organised 3 international conferences, hereby working on cost control, invitations and correspondence with the participants, booking of venue, hotels, plain tickets, serving, communication, as well as updating information on the projects website.Project: “Mediation of Migration”. (2010 Aug – 2010 Dec)Responsibilities: Collect and code data into the SPSS program.Results: Gathered and coded approx. 70% of the media data within the research field. Developed the code-book for the research project. Developed the White Book for future research assistants, so to make sure a more efficient overlap of the assistants.

Radio Nova is student radio in Oslo run by volunteers. "Snakker Ikke Norsk" is the only international student radio program organized and run by international students.Responsibilities: Develop and manage the radio program and a team of the radio journalists.Results: Strengthen the music profile and the team of volunteer journalists. Recruited and trained at least 20 journalists. Created a great interest for our program among the potential future journalists. The program was the most applied to program in the whole Radio Nova, with approx. 40 applicants to 5 volunteer radio journalists positions. Two student, whom I had the honour to give the first radio training ever, are now professional journalists in USA and Canada.

City Self Storage is renting out 5000 storage facilities in a greater Oslo area, selling a choice of moving and packaging products, as well as offering moving and storing services.Responsibilities: Assist department manager with sales and accounting.Results: During the period I have build up a unique knowledge of all 10 (at that time) department stores and could at any time if need be step in and organise the management of the store. As a cause of this I was offered a possibility to continue as a manager for one of the biggest store departments, but I have already planned to continue my academic studies and left the company.
