I help protect the interests of electricity consumers with respect to prices and the reliability and quality of electricity service. My career began in energy efficiency and conservation, where I consulted for utilities across Southern Ontario and worked with 3M manufacturing facilities throughout North America.Currently, I’m part of the electricity distribution rates team at Ontario’s energy regulator, where I manage rate proceedings and policy consultations. My broad experience, combined with a solid engineering and technical background, enhances my ability to effectively handle energy regulation. I specialize in reviewing financial and operational reports from electric utilities, analyzing the costs associated with providing services, and evaluating the rationale for setting rates. This diverse expertise allows me to ensure that the regulatory process is thorough and that consumers’ interests are protected.
