*2022 Student-Athlete Graduate of Northeastern University*Graduated with honors from Northeastern’s Communications Studies Department as a student-athlete. During my last few semesters at Northeastern, film, a previous hobby, transformed into a passion. I worked on my own film projects in classes and learned the intricacies of various areas of film. I also took philosophy and communication classes in which open discussion was the prime principle, and where I polished my communication skills. Concurrent with my studies was my role on the men’s basketball team. As a part of the Husky family, I went through many ups and downs with my coaches and fellow student-athletes, and I learned what true dedication is. I forged a mental toughness by simultaneously investing in the academic and athletic field for three years at Northeastern.My skills include film production, camera work (photography, videography), sound production, and audio and video editing, as well as communicational problem-solving and working with others. I highly value integrity, compassion, and open-mindedness. My classmates, coaches, and teammates would describe me as a competent communicator, a leader by example who always puts the collective first, and challenges others to give their best. I’m most proud of my consistency. My effort is steady, no matter the circumstances.I’m interested in anything that involves film and creative storytelling, specifically directing, cinematography, editing, and screenwriting. One day I’d like to make my own feature films to communicate my truth and help others do the same.
