I am an environmental scientist with broad expertise in Soil Science. I apply my knowledge and skills in research projects in environmental/agricultural science to mitigate and adapt to climate change. In particular, I use different approaches, including the application of Nature-based Solutions, to improve soil and land management by reducing GHG emissions and increasing carbon sequestration in the soil.Throughout my career, I have developed my skills in data science through the management of large datasets, and different types of statistical analyses, as well as through sound knowledge of programming languages. I have also expertise in fieldwork and experiment design, as well as training and teaching people of different scientific backgrounds. I have also developed a unique mindset, blending an analytical approach with creative thinking. I have a proven ability to apply transferable skills to a variety of professional disciplines and have experience in collaborating with different stakeholders, including industry and environmental agency representatives, academics, and farmers.
