Planning, organizing and directing Foundry Plant operations. Implementation of manufacturing strategies to optimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities and materials. Compliance with plant budget, ensuring delivery times, quality standards and cost control.

Managing the engineering department. Development of new product design methods, as well as production procedures and quality control systems in order to increase productivity, reduce costs and improve quality. Casting design and simulation. Foundry patterns design.

Coordinate Industrialization and manage APQP work package. Feasibility analysis and production process definition. Coordinate installation and setup of equipments and toolings. Lead Run@Rate and Mass Production Trial.

Continuous Improvement projects. Line design and production optimization.

Industrialization of new projects. Definition / design and implementation of production lines. Training production teams. Production management until Start of Production. Optimization of industrial processes (Value Stream Mapping, layout optimization, study and implementation of continuous improvement activities in order to achieve productivity gains and quality problems solving - Lean Manufacturing).

Coordinate work package tasks. Technical interface with the customer and the suppliers. Implement all changes related to production system and/or related to the product (as of Engineering Change Management). Study, develop in detail, validate, release and set-up the complete Production System of the program in the plant: equipment and tool interfaces, layout, process flow charts, material and information flow diagram in accordance with the Group standards and program objectives. Ensure the achievement of Process, Equipment and Facility FMEA. Coordinate installation and launch of all production equipment and tooling. Manage the Production Part Approval Process in the plant (including Mass Production Trial and Extended Mass Production Trial). Manage the production launch in the plant till SOP. Support the Production Ramp-up. Achieve all manufacturing program objectives in the plant (Quality, Costs, Delivery).
