In my early years of professional activity, I worked as a film actor and later went on to write, direct, and produce award-winning alternative videos. I also taught video and cinema at the Brazilian Israelite School, which led to an invitation to work as a copywriter at an advertising agency. Soon after, I founded my own agency, Dez Propaganda, which became one of the most awarded Brazilian agencies in the 1990s. Eventually, I sold Dez to Fischer America, bought it back, and later partnered with the Newcomm group, opening Dez Brasil, which eventually became the foundation of the now-renowned VML@YR Brazil. I also became a writer and columnist for Carta Capital magazine, where I wrote a column called "Blogs do Além," which was later published as a book. With this work, I also won the award for Best Humor Blog of the Year, granted by Deutsche Welle.I believe all of these experiences led me to co-found Snack Content with Nelsinho Botega. And what is Snack? Snack is a data-driven global content studio that aims to empower brands to adopt a creator mindset. We specialize in fostering engaged communities and harnessing the power of influence. By combating the "depositok" and "depositube" mentality, we bring a creative frequency to our clients. As a one-stop-shop for brands, we offer a comprehensive solution, covering strategy, production, and talent sourcing. Our data-driven methodology, SNACK CBI, allows us to tailor our approach to the specific needs of each brand and audience.Snack has been around for almost 10 years and has had many successful cases, such as the Coisa Nossa channel for Guaraná Antártica, the fourth most engaged brand channel in the world. We also manage Magalu's TikTok profile, the largest brand profile in Latin America on the platform. Additionally, we recently won the main trophy at the TikTok Ad Award Brazil. All of this has encouraged us to take Snack to other markets. In 2023, we will begin our international expansion with units in Los Angeles, Lisbon, and Milan.
