In this, my second exchange opportunity in Bear Valley, I undertook greater responsibilities and aimed to enhance my skills across both of my positions.Beginning my day at 5 a.m., I was tasked with opening and closing the lodge's café until 11 a.m., ensuring subsequent organization and proper cleanliness. During this initial shift, my responsibilities included organization, cleanliness, and inventory management to facilitate seamless operations throughout the week. Weekly orders were placed by my manager based on the product list I provided.My second shift commenced around 3 p.m. at the resort's pizzeria, a new restaurant that became the primary and busiest spot of the season, ending around 10:30 p.m. In this role, I managed the salad station, assisted the chef with pizza deliveries, and created and prepared new desserts during the shift. Maintaining and updating the list of required products for the next purchase was also my responsibility.In both roles, I had the opportunity to grow personally, as I worked with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds, which was crucial for my notable development in terms of responsibility, commitment, and teamwork. Moreover, I was able to significantly improve my English proficiency throughout this experience.

During my 3 month exchange program, I had the opportunity to work at two different restaurants within the resort. The second position was assigned to me based on outstanding merit, thanks to my strong performance and excellent results in my primary job.In my first role, situated at one of the ski slopes, my duties primarily focused on customer service. I assisted on the kitchen front line, preparing dishes and ensuring prompt and efficient delivery to customers. Additionally, I was responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the food preparation area to uphold food safety standards and customer satisfaction.In my second position, I worked at the resort's main restaurant, where I assisted with kitchen organization and cleanliness. My responsibilities included dishwashing, pot and utensil cleaning, as well as assisting in keeping the food preparation area tidy and organized. I was also tasked with aiding in dish preparation and assembly for dinner service.In both roles, I was able to enhance my organizational and teamwork skills significantly. Moreover, I made substantial improvements in my English proficiency and developed strategies to meet customer needs effectively. It was a rewarding professional experience that allowed me to grow personally and professionally.

During this period, I was able to absorb many experiences and establish good teamwork dynamics.My main responsibilities included:- Organization and management of my CRM- Lead prospecting and acquisition- Direct negotiation with clients- Spreadsheet organization containing sales and revenue information- Achieving group targets, which not only contributed to our individual goals but also fostered connection and built strong relationships within the team.
