Logistics Supervisor
CurrentOversee a team of 20 drivers, using data, analytics, and logistics to increase service, efficiency, and profitability while collaborating with warehouses and leading excellent team care and customer service standards. • Utilize data and best practices to analyze routes, process mapping, and improve efficiency, resulting in increased profitability and quality control of the product to retail.• Use data tools to analyze historical trends among customer demands to achieve process improvements and reconcile variance. • Coordinate logistics with supply chain forecast analysis to maintain inventory levels and distribution time to four warehouses in Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton, and Kenova. • Provide ongoing monitoring of workflow, productivity, logistics, and withholding of OSHA requirements by utilizing internal quality systems.• Lead inspections of drivers and trucks regarding business processes and operations techniques. • Motivate continuous improvement and consistency in the quality of service and teach how to be agile under pressure in an emergency.• Develop and maintain customer service by creating communication channels and explaining logistics timelines to provide the best customer experience possible.• Accurately input data and audit data integrity from electronic warehouse equipment and other facilities.• Coordinate daily driver shifts to ensure production levels are met, then report to the GM of the Ohio Valley Region.
