Vitor Sanchez is a dual-citizen (Brazil and European Union) professional with 12 years of relevant work experience, international exposure and proven track record in the Financial Industry. Currently based in Sao Paulo after 5-year tenure in New York, he is an Executive Director serving as a LatAm and International Markets & Cross Asset Volatility Trader and Portfolio Manager for Morgan Stanley. Prior to that, Vitor was responsible for the US Financials/REITs as well as the Custom Baskets & Dispersion volatility portfolios for Morgan Stanley in the US. He also held positions as US Interest Rates Structurer in the United States and as a LatAm Equity Analyst in Brazil. Vitor started his career in 2013 as an Equity Analyst covering the Latin American Infrastructure, Transportation and Industrials sectors. In 2018, he was invited to join Morgan Stanley's Headquarters in the United States following his selection for the Global Institutional Security Group (ISG) Rotational Program, designed for top performing associates globally. At that time, there were only 11 people selected for it in the Americas. Vitor was also the first person based outside of the US and the first Brazilian ever to join such program.Outside the world of finance, Vitor’s interests lie in spending time with his family, reading and sports - he is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner and martial arts enthusiast.
