I have multiple experiences with combinatorial optimization problems, working since my second semester in Computer Science at UFBA.My experience involves 3 scientific initiations, a final project, a master's degree (on my way to finish it), all related to optimization. I implemented, developed, and applied several methods, both exact (LP, MIP, CP) and approximate (GRASP, BRKGA, LNS, greedy heuristics, local searches, path relinking). My main area of expertise involves routing problems, but in my master's thesis, I'm developing algorithms for scheduling problems. I have implemented these methods in C/C++ and Julia.I used Gurobi for MIP and LP, and OR Tools CP-SAT for CP for the exact methods.My final project was awarded as the third-best paper of the Scientific Initiation Award at the LV Brazilian Symposium of Operations Research (SBPO 2023), which was presented orally on 08/11/2023.Then, we continued studying the final project problem for my master's thesis.A preliminary study for the scheduling problem I'm currently working was accepted to the LVI Brazilian Symposium of Operations Research (SBPO 2024), which was presented orally on 06/11/2024.I also have one-year experience with full-stack web development, developing new features and fixing bugs on web systems.My stack involved: Python (Django), Javascript/Typescript (React), PostgreSQL.
