Manage plans and schedules to effectively organize the company production activities in order to meet an agreed programme of deadlines. Participate in regular meetings with the Project Managers, Clients and weekly meeting with the Company Manager and keeping them informed of progress. Liaise with engineering department for selection of material to suit the market availability in coordination with Project coordinator and follow up with Engineering dept. for drawings, to schedule work planning. Manage and ensure proper usage of materials / equipments and to improve methods required for cost saving / cost reduction in accordance to budgets. Ensure proper documentation required for the completion of work and gain approval from the Q.C department for further operation. Manage safety matters on the work site, and ensure that the safety regulations are adhered to.

Quality Assurance Engineer in the Construction Supervising Teams working on the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the railway net of the Luanda Railway Company, Benguela Railway Company and Moçamedes Railway Company. Main activities are to perform reviews to the inspections to the construction of buildings, railways, drainage, water supply and coordination with the various specialties involved in quality assurance of construction submitted by the Contractor and to propose alternative and viable solutions.

Effective communication with all parties, client progress meetings.Financial Control: Quantity Surveying and general contract administration including: Preparation of interim applications, cost value reconciliation and reporting, survey and site measurement, sub contract valuation, credit management, production of specifications, bills of quantities, schedule of rates and quotes, programming and planning, sub contractor procurement and material scheduling.Quality / Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with all H&S legislation, quality checks and record inspections of the works at varying stages to produce a defect free end product along with associated reporting day to day programming.
