With a PhD in Stem Cells, Regenerative Medicine & Tissue Engineering and 15 years of international experience in biotechnology, cell line development, bioprocessing, stem cells, and regenerative medicine, I have a strong background and passion for applying animal cell culture technology to create sustainable and ethical food solutions, novel research tools for biomedical application (such as cell-based models) and cell therapies. I am an experienced leader in the biotechnology and food sector, with demonstrated deliverables in building and managing R&D teams and achieving key milestones and breakthroughs. In my previous role, I was one of the founding members and the Senior Director of Cell Culture R&D (Cellular Agriculture) at GOOD Meat, a subdivision of Eat Just, Inc., where I led a team of scientists and engineers to produce cultivated (cell-based) meat products. Amongst some of our top achievements, we accomplished the first ever worldwide regulatory authorization for commercialization of cultivated meat in Singapore and the United States. I'm now leading the cell biology R&D program at Hoxton Farms, a leading animal cell-cultivated fat company based in London, for applications as ingredients in hybrid meat products.
