Direct Reporting to the Airport Services Director and COO. Main projects:- Promote the identification of new optimized solutions in terms of equipment’s and facilities aligned with the best practices at the industry;- Coordinate/monitor more than 170 projects concerning remodelling, expansion/modification of Maintenance & Engineering (ME) facilities and equipment’s in Portugal and Outstations operated by TAP according to defined objectives and costs;- More significant projects included New Facilities In: São Paulo (new terminal 3), Recife, Natal, Manaus, Belém do Pará, Brasília and Porto Alegre International Airports;- Installation of the new washing booth for aircraft parts at the Hangar 4, new hydraulic unit test bench at the component shop in Hangar 6, new composite repair shop chamber at the Hangar 5;- Different projects concerning the remodelling of Hangar 4, Hangar 5, Hangar 6, Engine and Components Shops;- Remodelling and modernization of general compressed air network;- Providing formal supervision to service providers, concerning KPI’s and costs control;- Responsible and follow-up the budget for construction/repair works to ME Facilities and Equipment’s (Portugal and Outstations);- Ensure that TAP ME facilities cope with technical, aeronautical, environmental, safety, security and occupational health and safety regulations so that current or new certifications are maintained/obtained;- Integrated the jury on behalf of TAP, in representation of TAP ME, for the purposes of a public tender, with view to selecting the Maintenance Facilities and Equipment’s provider for TAP Air Portugal Group;- Supporting TAP Maintenance and Engineering Chief Technical Officer at the meetings with unions and others employee’s representations concerning subjects involving Equipment’s and facilities;- Routine contacts with Portuguese and International Authorities and Providers (ANAC, DGAC, ANA, INFRAERO, GRUAIRPORT, INFRAMERICA…).

Main projects:- Responsible for sale of surplus materials: airfame, rotables including Engines (CF6-80C2A2, CFM56-3B2 and JT8D-17A), APU’s and Landing Gears from TAP phase out fleets, with a view of reducing the fixed price of inventory, the annual sales budget was 5M€;- Responsible for implementing strategic supply chain plans for more than 50 regular customers over the world (more relevant customers: TAP ME Brazil, SATA International, Brite Air, TAAG Airlines), improving policies and procedures surrounding the flow of materials through the business, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations, and customer needs;- Responsible for negotiation of long-term sales and customer agreements, more relevant: TAP ME Brazil, AAR Corporation, Brite Air, IAMCO, SATA International, Portugalia and White Airlines agreements;- Assisting VP Logistics in daily activities required to increase revenues with sales of surplus material, through the sale and support of products and services;- Daily interaction with various internal and external stakeholders, as well as being an alternate point of contact for many of TAP Maintenance & Engineering OEM partners;- Supporting teammates with proposal responses, providing product/program analysis, and writing impactful/meaningful responses to our customers;- Support VP Logistics with development and execution of proposal responses, product margin and program analysis, and execution with minimal oversight from management;- Proactively producing weekly sales reports, controlling the evolution of KPI’s defined and agreed for the business management, and ship set tracking maps;- Effectively developed persuasive, well organized, and informative proposals and program analysis in response to customers proposal requests;- Evaluate quotations and negotiation processes;- Follow-up on leads generated/provided by inside and marketing;- Maintained and developed strong industry, OEM and costumers contacts.

Main projects:- As Aircraft Maintenance Programs Engineering Coordinator, I was responsible for developing, revising, and improving maintenance programmes for TAP A310/A319/A320/A321/A340 fleets based on OEM Documents, National and International Requirements, Operator Experience, etc, to ensure TAP Air Portugal fleets meets all Part M requirements, related to the setup and continuous optimization of aircraft maintenance programmes of the assigned fleets, which is required in order for TAP Air Portugal to maintain Part M approval documented within the TAP Air Portugal EASA Air Operator Certificate (AOC);- Adaptation to operator requirements (flight profile, ground times, manpower, etc.) considering reliability data and continuous watch of the effectiveness of the maintenance program;- Participation on Industry Steering Committees (ISC) Meetings for A300/A310, A319/A320/A321 and A330/A340 families Maintenance Review Board Reports (MRB) and acting as ISC Advisor on A300/A310, A319/A320/A321 and A330/A340 Structures Maintenance Working Group (MWG) meetings;- Involved in the launch of EuroAtlantic, SATA Internacional, Air Luxor and YES Airlines concerning the maintenance programs;- Responsible/coordination of projects and respective approvals by the aviation authorities concerning the escalation of interval for inspections C for airframe, and landing gears for A310 fleet, with a very significant reduction of costs for the operator, and aligned with the best aviation practices.
