A relevantly new start up that needed me to identify business opportunities, streamlining administrative and procurement cost, conduct market analysis and provide support on backward and/ or forward integrations best suited for individual products including farm produce

Growing Agro worlds!I was in charge of creating linkages to the new ERP system and generating job descriptions for each posts in the organisation. I was oversight in streamlining production activities to reduce cost and wastages( cleared over 500MT of product to waste and subsequent sale as animal feed). i also oversaw administration, stores and logistical processes efficacy through people management and creating a time log for employees to curb redundancy increasing overall output and reduced number of night shifts in the month.I was also mediating and linking with newly acquired commercial business in India and Europe, support sales through efficient and effective process development,proper and timely communication to customers, timely acceleration of issues to senior management that led to reduction of order lead times, cost, manpower and system bottlenecks. I also handled recurring bulk export sales to the European and Asian Markets for Beans and pulses building a sales portfolio that made positive impact on the P&L.

Insta Products (EPZ) K Limited is a renowned medium business enterprise that established itself as a relief food manufacturer for East & Sub- Saharan providing quality products meeting local &International standards leading to our classification as a global supplier to UNICEF, a big benchmark. My role was to understand the customers' needs, meet their internal controls, product needs' & targets, tailor make our process to ensure an efficient output to the customer, a working Quality Food Management System and a cost effective manpower and internal resource management that allows smooth running of the process. A close interaction with parties within the value chain from farm input supply to end product distribution, production & financial forecasting was also part of my role.I developed & maintained these partnerships by internally monitoring and improving processes to externally motivating and networking with business partners maintaining good relationships and continuously improving my skills through different short courses. Some achievements at this position include;reducing human resource costs by 30%, pivotal team member in negotiating tax rebate and product classification- a reduction from 51%to 33 %, increase in sales turnover with new management team to almost USD 1m monthly and also generating a invoice tracking system to ensure payments were not delayed longer than contract timeline.

My duties as program coordinator under USAID project were expanded to cover the company's larger customer base that included: UNICEF, WFP, REDCROSS, ICRC, Save the Children, ChildFund, Trocaire among others of which I brought on board quite a number as well as the Snr. Supply Chain CoordinatorMy other responsibilities included consulting with collateral Manager on site at the factory on financial forecasts as payments from clients and expected sales. I also prepared books, tours and reports to funding institutions and private partners to enable transparency and smooth operations. I was trained as a deputy Quality Food Safety Team Leader to oversee internal audits and continuously improve the value chain to meet and improve our HACCP and ISO 22 000 implementation targets.

Worked closely with USAID & Academy for Educational Development (AED) to accomplish project goals in the Nutrition & HIV food Program(USAID| NHP)in Kenya. Participated in site visit follow ups, evaluation of new clinics, warehousing practices onsite & inventory programs practiced in said clinics. Ensured food safety quality compliance with civil organizations and donor regulations,oversight in donation distribution depending on organisation ratios and destination. Worked closely with the program team on overall program administration including providing logistical support to program participants and staff.A few of my achievements here included: Team contributor to program expansion by 60 % in 2 years, Worked as chief liaison between Insta Products ( food Manufacturer & distribution partner),USAID ( donor partner) & AED ( project implementing partner) in daily project activities that directly involved each partner. I negotiated discounted project distribution transport rates and developed a routing schedule that enabled cost cutting through clustering & reduced risk. I owned all work on packaging material, design & artworks suitable for the project needs and also environmental friendly product.

Developed a database management program as a private consultant prior to full time employment. I was mandated to oversee the data presented and keyed into the system and running operations on data requested by multiple users. I debugged programs, created and maintained backups in SQL server, generated multiple and simultaneous reports as needed and customized program as data increased.
