5 years ago I took the step to move into adult social care, why?, I like a challenge, but I also love to understand organisational problems, and solve them through creative solutions that drive change in business and communities. Degree qualified in Urban Regeneration and with over 20 years experience in private and public sector organisations. I sum up my role as delivering excellent services that matter to the people we support, whilst optimising and scaling for future growth. To accomplish this, I focus on the people we support, achieving key results and building great teams that can adapt to new ways of working.My previous roles have given me an advantage which sets me apart, in that I've worked for not for profit organisations, that drive social change, who are equally commercially focussed. As as result I have developed a wide range of projects and initiatives which have created employment, delivered skills and generated significant financial growth; bringing together partners from the public, private and 3rd Sectors.A forward thinking individual I am able to manage change, develop strategies and influence stakeholders at all levels achieving real and positive outcomes.My previous background for a national housing consultancy, involved delivery of a wide range of housing, resident empowerment, regeneration partnerships and government initiatives across the UK including Housing Market Renewal, New Deal for Communities and Neighbourhood Management Programmes in Barnsley, Burnley, New East Manchester and Preston.
