For as long as I could remember, I've been told I have this vehement fervor for people. Whether it's advocating for them, being a listening ear, or supporting them in any capacity that I can, my devotion and interest lay in people. Throughout my life, I have cultivated this art of connecting with individuals at any given time and at every opportunity that has been presented to me. From working in an array of people-facing jobs since I was 16, to studying psychology and volunteering for such opportunities like the Danbury Homeless Connect Project while in school, to working in different areas of HR that allow me to engage with individuals in different ways, I've learned that being a people partner and advocate is essential to any successful HR professional.I have developed a passion for working in areas where I can be the voice for those who feel like they can't speak up or aren't typically heard. In HR, I am able to do this, by hearing their needs, doing all that I can to fulfill those needs, and ensuring they know they're being cared for. An organization does not thrive successfully without its people. So its always been my mission to serve as a conduit for those individuals and the greater business. As Robert Ingersoll once stated, "we rise by lifting others."
