ACTA is the national peak for community transport services. Community transport provides flexible transport for the 10% of older people and people with disabilities who cannot use their own transport or public transport, taxi's or ride share transport. Many have vulnerabilities including mental health issues which preclude them from using other forms of transport.

I am very pleased to be able to sit on the Executive Committee of IEPCP. They have a strong focus on prmotion of voluteering for social inclusion and I am looking forward to working with tracey and the team to further volunteering in Eastern Melbourne.

I am honoured to be appointed to the Ministerial Taskforce to advise on the development of the Victorian Volunteer Strategy.

I am very pleased to join the Board of the Frank Fenner Foundation to continue to promote and support young people to define what a sustainable future is for them. I look forward to supporting young people internationally and in Australia to plan for sustainability of their communities.

The VVSN is the statewide peak body for place based Volunteer Resource and Support services. These service are the only ones externally focused to promote and resource volunteering in other local community organisations. These services place people into volunteering throughout the community and strengthen the management and co-ordination of volunteering in organisations from health, ageing, disability to animal welfare, sporting, tourism, local government, child and family services to large charities.

The VVSN is a statewide network of Volunteer Support organisations who promote and reosurce volunteering in their local communities. The VVSN provides the platform for policy development and advocacy to goverment on the role and benefits of volunteering and provides a foundation for collaboration.

I am proud to be a partner with The OnePlanet Partnership working on The Young Persons Plan for the Planet. My work has been to design the initial planning process for schools across Australia to develop a plan for the sustainability of our planet. http://www.planfortheplanet.org.au/. I very much enjoyed this role for the short period I acted in it. ARACY restructured in 2016 and removed these Convenor roles nationally.

This position was a 12 month contract in the national role with the peak organisation for playgroups in Australia. I was responsible for the the national research agenda, the national outcomes based performance framework, the quality improvement program and estbalishing the probity and management framework for 21 national contracts. I was the Senior Practitioner for playgroups which requires expertise in the early years, parenting & family support, child safety and wellbeing and community development.

Playgroup Victoria is a membership association with a membership of 15,000. Membership cycles every 3 years ensuring that an equal focus on recruitment and retention is required to sustain the organisation. There are no other equivalent associations in Australia with this need to balance these key elements. Members are families, playgroups and organisations requiring tailored membership communication, marketing and service design. This position was responsible for management of Allied Health, Health Promotion and Dental Services as well as having responsibility for the quality improvement systems across the agency. I took the agency through accreditation & introduction of service coordination. The position managed contracts in HACC, Community Health, Disability and Dental as well as philanthropic and corporate funds.

Member of Barnardos Australia Executive Management Team, with direct responsibility to the Chief Executive Officer. Managed Barnardos South Coast incorporating the Diana Princess of Wales Integrated Childrens Family Centre, 9 outreach sites across 4 local government areas and a staff of 35 permanent and approx 100 foster carer and volunteer positions. . The position had 5 Program Managers reporting to it: Program Manager Out of Home Care and Community Development, Program Manager Family Services, Program Manager Volunteer Services, Program Manager Communities for Children and Program Manager Childrens Services. Barnardos South Coast was the first integrated early years child and family centre of its kind providing services from child care, playgroups and community development through to high end child protection family support and out of home care.

Taught in the areas of community development, agency management, social policy and governance.
