Locix (backed by UTEC, ID Ventures) provided IoT cloud services for spatial data analytics to improve productivity and safety in industrial spaces like warehouses and factories. Led new product initiatives - cloud services for indoor location (positioning) services and IoT enabled fleet tracking.

Secondmind.ai, a Cambridge UK company (backed by Tencent, Amadeus, Cambridge Innovation Capital) offers an AI/ML engine for autonomous decision making. As an early stage member of the team, defined product strategy to expand Secondmind’s AI/ML applications into new markets, such as logistic. Assumed additional responsibility of leading the marketing effort.

Delta ID (backed by Intel Capital, Samsung Ventures) pioneered the world's first iris enabled authentication technology for mobile devices. Established and led product functions for mobile iris biometric authentication system which was launched on Samsung, Microsoft, Fujitsu mobile devices.Spearheaded the development and qualification of a new mobile+cloud iris biometric product compatible with India's national biometric system (Aadhaar).

Crowdmull offered a chat-based interface to help consumers make informed purchase decisions by tapping into opinions from trusted sources within their social networks, as well as from aggregated product reviews. As a co-founder, I conceived, and developed the product, launched it on Apple’s App Store.

Chleon was one of the world's first company to provide an Android based connected car platform. Successfully on-boarded 25+ app providers. Spearheaded the development and customer on-boarding of a market leading automobile tracking service (OBD dongle connected to cloud service) aimed at enhancing safety and security.

Verayo (backed by Khosla Ventures) offered authentication & security solutions using an innovative Silicon “DNA” technology developed at MIT. Authored the business plan, established, and ran all product and marketing functions. Launched the first product, secured initial customers leading to revenue generation.

BEA (now part of Oracle Corp) was the leader in enterprise middleware software with $1.5+ billion in revenue. Led solutions led go-to-market initiatives for RFID industry solutions. Cross functional role requiring collaboration with product, marketing and sales teams. Provided key strategy and tools for sales successes.

Led a cross-functional team spanning product, marketing, professional services, partner management and sales to create industry verticals specific RFID solution architectures. Provided sales teams with tools to target Wal*Mart Mandate compliance, drug authentication, asset tracking use cases. Delivered RFID competitive and market analysis to help sales identify and position key industry players. Evangelized Sun RFID products and solutions at customer briefing centers. Effectively drove industry focused press and analyst outreach.

Led product management and product marketing for the core Java (J2SE) platform and J2EE integration technologies (Connectors, JMS, JDBC). Authored the Product Requirements Document (PRD) for Java 5.0 (first major update to Jave after 1.0), got budget approvals for the product plan, worked with a cross-functional team thru’ the product life cycle. Evangelized Sun’s Java technologies at customer briefing centers.
