• Responsible for procurement of Piping, electrical & instrumentatio, Bulk items & mechanical and static equipments from various approved vendors.• Analysis of enquiry /offer status and evaluation of technical/ commercial conditions of quotations.• Liaises with suppliers for any queries regarding enquiries.• Undertakes commercial negotiations with the bidders and to ensure the profitably procurement of materials.• Preparing PO and get approval from the management. • Distribution of purchase documents to subcontractors, client & accounts. • Expediting of delivery of major/minor items and ensuring the timely deliveries of items/equipments.• Interactions with Client, Vendors, Subcontractors & Project Management Team.• Assist project managers in the resolution of problems with vendors• Arranging inspection by coordinating with inspection department • Issuing DI and arranging transportation for dispatch of material.• Providing all the invoices and bills to accounts department for releasing payments of sub suppliers.• Maintaining all the records regarding PO details, price details, material fabrication, dispatches, vendor database etc. • Working experience in E-procurement, SAP,IPMS software.
