Since 2023, I am with St Joseph’s Institute of Management, Bangalore, India, as Distinguished Professor (Economics). From 1995 until 2022 I was Professor at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, where I taught the core course (First Year) in Macroeconomics and elective Courses Financial Macroeconomics and Global Financial Markets, mostly in the second year. Prior to that, from 1988 to 1994, I was at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Initially I was working on GDP and inflation projections in the Domestic Research Division of the Research Function and later was Senior Economist in the Foreign Exchange (Analysis) Function of the New York Fed.
