Verify attachment:As part of this assignment , I performed stress analysis (static and dynamic) of compressor blades and stator vanes, to calculate LCF and HCF life. Developed a VBA macro which computes the crack propagation life of a structure with multiple 2D cracks (Semi elliptic and through thickness edge crack), using the Newman and Raju solutions for stress intensity factor. Tried to appreciate the "empirical in-house parameters" used in Fatigue life testing of Compressor blades from a theoretical view point.Define Attachment:As part of this assignment, I worked on Mesh quality statistics and different Element quality measures used in FEM. Their fidelity to various distortion sensitivity tests were checked. Understood certain in-house distortion parameters used to quantify the effect of element distortion in FE solution and studied the effect of distortion on Convergence as well.

Worked as Teaching assistant for the course "Kinematics and Dynamics of Machinery", under the guidance of Prof. C Chandramouli. Was a great learning experience where I got to run tutorials and frame assignment problems.

Modal analysis of existing variants of Dynamically tuned Gyroscopes and was involved in a team for the development of new variants.
