Hi ! I am a social worker by profession, and my journey started in the beautiful village of Vazhakode, situated in Kasaragod, the northernmost district of Kerala. Equipped with a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Kannur University, I pursued my passion for social work by completing a Master's degree in Social Work from the esteemed Central University of Kerala.I consider myself fortunate to have commenced my professional career as a Child Welfare Officer, working in institutions owned by Deseeya Seva Bharathi. This experience allowed me to gain valuable insights into the challenges faced by children and honed my skills in providing support and care to them.Expanding my horizons, I joined the state planning board as an intern, where I gained practical experience in policy formulation and development. This opportunity helped me understand the intricacies of governance and the crucial role it plays in shaping society.To further contribute to the welfare of children, I served as a State Project Coordinator at the Sri Sathya Sai Orphanage Trust in Kerala for a period of approximately two years. During this time, I actively participated in various initiatives aimed at enhancing the well-being and overall development of orphaned children.Presently, I am proud to be associated with Sewa International as a research fellow. In this role, I engage in meaningful research projects and collaborate with a dedicated team to address pressing social issues.
